Terms of service

Version of 17 October 2026

Draft: add the operator's details and have the texts reviewed by a lawyer before launch.

1. Scope

These terms govern the use of Lichio, provided by the operator named in the legal notice (“we”), by salons and other businesses (“the customer”). Lichio is for businesses only, not consumers. The contract is formed when we confirm an order by e-mail or when a contract is signed. At the first sign-in to the app, an authorised person of the customer confirms the current version of these terms and of the data processing agreement; we keep who accepted which version and when.

2. The service

Lichio includes a salon website, online booking, a calendar and app for the team, client records and automatic e-mails to clients, as described on lichio.app. We keep developing the service and give at least 30 days' notice of any significant reduction in features.

3. Set-up

The customer provides the materials (price list, opening hours, photos, team details). We set up the service accordingly and the customer checks it before launch. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the materials.

4. Prices and payment

  • The subscription's price, billing period and payment terms are agreed with each customer in their order or contract.
  • Where we are required to charge VAT, it is added as the law requires; for businesses in other EU countries the reverse charge may apply.
  • Extras (custom template from €199 / 4,990 CZK, logo design from €59 / 1,490 CZK, other graphics) are invoiced once, according to a quote confirmed in advance.
  • We give at least 30 days' notice of price changes.

5. Term and cancellation

  • The contract's term and how it ends are agreed with each customer in their order or contract.
  • We may end the contract immediately for a serious breach.
  • If payment is more than 30 days overdue, we may restrict the service after giving notice.
  • After the contract ends we hand the customer their data on request and delete it within 30 days; it leaves our backups within a further 30 days.

6. Customer obligations

  • Use the service lawfully.
  • Publish only content they have the rights to (photos, copy, logo).
  • Keep sign-in details and team accounts safe.
  • As the controller of their clients' data, inform clients about the processing and have a legal basis for it, such as consent to newsletters.
  • Making sure the team members follow the rules for the salon's team, and providing the salon's legal details for its website (Settings → Salon).

7. Personal data

We process the data of the customer's clients and team as a processor under the data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms.

8. Intellectual property

The Lichio software, templates and design remain ours. The customer grants us the rights to their content needed to run the service. For a logo and graphics made for them, the customer receives an exclusive, perpetual licence once paid in full. A custom template may be used for the duration of the contract.

9. Availability and support

We aim for uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance is announced in advance and scheduled outside salon opening hours where possible. Support is provided by e-mail on working days.

10. Liability

We are not liable for lost profits or indirect damage. Our total liability is limited to the amount the customer paid in the previous 12 months. This limit does not apply to intent, gross negligence or personal injury.

11. Changes to these terms

We announce changes by e-mail at least 30 days before they take effect. A customer who disagrees may cancel before then. For a material change we ask for a new acceptance at the next sign-in.

12. Final provisions

Czech law applies and the Czech courts have jurisdiction. These terms exist in several languages; in case of conflict the Czech version prevails. If one provision is invalid, the rest remain in force.
